DISCOVER THE STORIES
Welcome to the official website of The Furious Fourth, a non-profit association dedicated to interpreting the lives and struggles of the average foot soldier during World War II, specifically men and women of the 4th Infantry Division. These soldiers experienced some of the most brutal combat in the advance across Europe. Chosen as one of the primary spearhead divisions in Operation Overlord, these men of the Fourth waded ashore at Utah Beach on D-Day, June 6, 1944.

Based out of Pennsylvania, our members participate in a number of events throughout the mid-Atlantic every year. These include living history encampments, reenactments, film productions, school talks and educational initiatives, both large and small. Striving for authenticity, we focus on more than just weapons and equipment. Rather, we contextualize individual, personal experiences within the broader saga of the Second World War.
